Manage your bank sharing
Choose which supported banks and accounts you share, and review or stop that sharing.
Connect your banks
When bank connections are enabled for your household, open Settings → Bank connections. Continue to Basiq, review the purpose, information requested and sharing period, then authenticate with your bank and choose your accounts. You can repeat this for other supported banks. Do not send bank passwords or security codes to Rendra support or your assistant.
Your verified Rendra email is used to create your Basiq connection identity. Your bank's consent screen determines which accounts you share. Returning to Rendra does not by itself confirm that a connection succeeded.
Check an import
Choose Import latest data. Rendra verifies consent and fetches the available accounts and transactions before applying a complete import. Check the last import time and available history against your bank's statement. Current and available balances can differ; pending payments can change when posted. Uncertain account matches stay out of totals until reviewed.
Review, renew or add a bank
Choose Manage consent in Bank connections to open Basiq's sharing controls. Review the accounts and expiry shown there. If sharing expires, complete a new consent and import again. Data is hidden when its consent verification is stale; this is not a zero balance. After a successful manual import, you can enable automatic imports if available in your environment. Rendra then imports available Basiq data during its daily pilot run. The bank update time can be earlier than the import time. You can turn automatic imports off without withdrawing bank sharing.
Stop sharing
Choose Withdraw bank sharing and review the confirmation. Rendra immediately blocks use of that connection and removes its imported transaction observations, balance history and archived transaction payloads. It then requests withdrawal from Basiq and checks the result. If confirmation fails, the connection stays blocked; retry or use Manage consent to check Basiq's status.
You can also use your bank's data-sharing controls. Changes made outside Rendra are picked up at the next successful provider check. Rendra does not treat its last import as indefinite permission to read data.
What withdrawal does not delete
Your Rendra login, uploaded documents and information you entered yourself are separate. Minimal consent, account-matching and audit records can remain; a withdrawn feed may leave a hidden account placeholder. Another household member's separately authorised bank connection is not revoked by your withdrawal. Account deletion and complete privacy-rights requests are separate from this control.
Initial live-bank pilot
The pilot is for reviewing your ledger. AI processing and derived reports are disabled for households with live Basiq connections while their processing terms and deletion controls are reviewed. Sandbox connections use fictional Hooli data and have different retention behavior, stated on their disconnect screen.
