Rendra

Terms

Draft terms. This is a working draft. The final version will be reviewed by Australian legal counsel before we open signups to families outside the founding cohort. The substance — not financial advice, read-only bank access, you own your data — is accurate; treat any ambiguous language as provisional.

Plain-English terms for using Rendra.

1. What Rendra is (and isn't)

Rendra is a household-finance dashboard. It shows you balances, transactions, goals, and a forecast based on your own data pulled via the Australian Consumer Data Right.

Rendra is not financial advice. The AI advisor gives general information based on your numbers; it isn't a licensed financial adviser. For tax, super, insurance, mortgage or estate decisions you should talk to a qualified professional.

Rendra cannot move money. We have read-only access to your bank data via BankSync.io / Fiskil. We cannot initiate transfers, pay bills, or use any payment rails on your behalf.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password and TOTP device secure. We require two-factor authentication on every account. If you lose your phone, the recovery codes shown at TOTP enrolment are the only self-service path back in.

3. Your household

A household is shared between its members. Owners can invite and remove members; members can read everything and make edits; viewers can only read. Removing a member instantly revokes their access via row-level security.

4. Data ownership

You own your data. Settings → Your data → Export downloads a full JSON copy any time. Settings → Your data → Delete account wipes every row tied to your household.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to access another household's data, reverse-engineer the auth or rate-limit layers, or use Rendra to break Australian law. We'll suspend accounts that do.

6. Limits of liability

Rendra is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but bank data, AI summaries, and forecasts can be wrong. You're responsible for the decisions you make from them.

7. Changes

We'll email you if these terms change materially. Small clarifications go straight in; the "last updated" date below moves forward.

8. Governing law

Queensland, Australia.
